Last weekend, summer vacation came to an end in the last regions around EuroAirport. Due to its trinational catchment area, the Airport’s summer vacation period is prolonged by several weeks each year. This summer, operations proved to be intense again: numerous thunderstorms and constraints related to European air traffic control providers temporarily lead to delays. Overall, however, operations ran smoothly and orderly.
EuroAirport will cease operations of Light and Leisure Aviation, currently based in the North Zone of the Airport, by the end of 2026 at the latest. The decision was made for business and planning reasons.

Flights to a hundred destinations with over 30 airlines: the flight schedule for the summer season will start on March 30, 2025 with a number of new destinations and airlines.
The project winner and general contractor for the new building annex to the east façade of the terminal have been named. They are the DRLW Architectes | Vischer Architekten | Egis Bâtiment Nord Est | Gruner AG | LAP'S consortium, which will be responsible for designing and overseeing the project.
