Filming & Photography at EuroAirport
EuroAirport offers a unique setting for filming and photography in an international environment. All photo and film shoots must be requested in advance from the EuroAirport media service.
Airport Zones
Landside (open to the public):
Departure halls (before security checks)
Arrivals hall
Visitor terrace
Car parks
Driveway (departures/arrivals)
Bus stops
Depending on the scope of the planned filming, an escort by airport staff may be required.
Airside (not open to the public):
Boarding gates
Apron
Baggage claim hall
The cargo halls are also considered non-public areas.
Accompaniment by airport staff is mandatory in these areas.
The following is permitted:
Photography and filming in publicly accessible areas (landside)
The following is not permitted:
Filming of security-related facilities (e.g. security checks)
Filming police or customs personnel in uniform
Filming uninvolved persons without their consent
Important notes
- Unless the filming is part of news coverage, the following minimum lead times apply:
Landside area: Request at least two weeks in advance
Airside area: Request at least four weeks in advance - Larger productions (e.g. films, advertising shoots with more than 6 people) can only be approved in exceptional cases for operational reasons.
- If airport partners are involved in the filming, a separate approval from them is also required.
- Filming of employees is only permitted with their expressed consent and the consent of their employer.
- Airport operations, passenger flow and vehicle traffic must not be affected by the filming. Barriers are not permitted.
