EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg is setting a landmark, visible from afar, for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025: As of Monday, April 14, a new tower banner with the iconic slogan “Ne partez pas sans moi” - a tribute to Céline Dion - will adorn the Airport.

The 20th edition of the EuroAirport Aviation Collectors’ Fair will take place on Sunday, April 13, 2025 on the 5th floor, in the South Terminal of the airport building (on the Swiss side). The collectors’ tables will be organised around the “Luminator”, Jean Tinguely’s last work of art.

Flights to a hundred destinations with over 30 airlines: the flight schedule for the summer season will start on March 30, 2025 with a number of new destinations and airlines.

The project winner and general contractor for the new building annex to the east façade of the terminal have been named. They are the DRLW Architectes | Vischer Architekten | Egis Bâtiment Nord Est | Gruner AG | LAP'S consortium, which will be responsible for designing and overseeing the project.

Throughout the year 2024, the Airport welcomed around 8.9 million passengers, an increase of 10.2% compared to the previous year. Passenger numbers reached 98% of the 2019 total. Cargo volumes are returning to pre-crisis levels as well. The Strategic Business Area Industry once again proved robust in 2023.

Renaud Paubelle has been appointed by the Board of Directors as the new Deputy Managing Director of Basel-Mulhouse Airport. He will take up his function on July 1, 2025, succeeding Marc Steuer.

EuroAirport’s links to the public transport system are now even better. The new 220 FREUND regional business service operates every hour, and every half-hour at peak times, between Lörrach and EuroAirport.

Tobias Markert has been appointed by the Board of Directors as the new Managing Director of Basel-Mulhouse Airport. He will take office on April 1, 2025 and succeeds Matthias Suhr, who will be taking early retirement after 10 years at the head of the Airport.
