Leaving EuroAirport by Public Transportation
From EuroAirport, you can easily reach France, Switzerland or Germany thanks to regular bus and train connections.
Travelling to France
(Alsace, Mulhouse, Colmar, Strasbourg…)
Step 1 – Getting to Saint-Louis Train Station (France)
- Bus Line 11 (Distribus) – Departure from the terminal forecourt (Arrivals Zone, French sector)
Direct shuttle between the Airport and Saint-Louis SNCF train station
Every 15 to 30 minutes from 05:00 to midnight
Duration of bus ride: approx. 10–15 minutes
SMS ticket available: send “EAP” to 93400 (3 €)
Step 2 – Taking the train
- From Saint-Louis SNCF Station:
➝ Direct trains to Mulhouse, Colmar, Sélestat, Strasbourg – every 30 minutes
Travelling to Switzerland
(Basel, Zurich, Bern, Lucerne…)
Step 1 – Getting to Basel SBB railway station
- Bus Ligne 50 (BVB) – Departure from the terminal forecourt (Arrivals Zone, Swiss sector)
Direct bus from the Airport to Basel SBB railway station
Every 7 to 10 minutes from 04:30 to midnight
Duration of bus ride: approx. 20 minutes
Step 2 – Taking the train
- From Basel SBB railway station:
➝ Trains to Zurich, Bern, Lausanne, Lucerne…
➝ Regional S-Bahn trains to Frick, Liestal, Delémont, Riehen, Lörrach… (Lines S1, S3, S6 – every 30 minutes)
Travelling to Germany
To Lörrach and Weil-am-Rhein :
- Bus Line 220 (FREUND) – Departiure from the terminal forecourt (Arrivals Zone, French sector)
Bus from the Airport to Lörrach and Weil am Rhein via Huningue and Saint-Louis
Every 30 minutes from 04:30 to midnight - Possibility to transfer to S-Bahn at Weil am Rhein-Haltingen or Lörrach
To Freiburg and the Germany-wide rail network
- Bus Freiburger Reisedienst
➝ Departure: Terminal (French sector)
➝ Arrival: Central bus station Freiburg (next to main train station)
Hourly departures
Duration of bus ride: approx. 60 minutes - From Freiburg main train station:
➝ Trains to Offenburg, Karlsruhe, the Black Forest, etc.
Via Basel Badischer Bahnhof
- From the Airport, take Bus 50 to Basel SBB railway station, then Tram 2 to Basel Badischer Bahnhof
➝ Long-distance trains to Germany with Deutsche Bahn (DB)
