Annual Report 2024: A solid year and excellent prospects
The year 2024 saw a return to life before the pandemic as well as a recovery in air traffic, as reflected in EuroAirport’s three Strategic Business Areas.
“Ne partez pas sans moi”: EuroAirport in the spirit of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025
EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg is setting a landmark, visible from afar, for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025: As of Monday, April 14, a new tower banner with the iconic slogan “Ne partez pas sans moi” - a tribute to Céline Dion - will adorn the Airport.
Winning project for new annex to the terminal building named
The project winner and general contractor for the new building annex to the east façade of the terminal have been named. They are the DRLW Architectes | Vischer Architekten | Egis Bâtiment Nord Est | Gruner AG | LAP'S consortium, which will be responsible for designing and overseeing the project.
9.6 million passengers and improvements in service quality, operations and nocturnal noise pollution
In 2025, 9.6 million passengers used EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg. This made 2025 the busiest year in the history of EuroAirport in terms of passenger numbers. The year was marked by high demand and intense summer operations, as well as progress made in infrastructure projects, stabilising operations and environmental and noise reduction measures.
