Ski St. Moritz - A winter wonderland for your enjoyment

Snow-covered ski slopes sparkling in the sun; a wide, high valley, bewitching in its multifaceted beauty: a dream for every snow sports enthusiast. The sun-blessed Upper Engadine is the largest winter sports region in Switzerland, and has repeatedly topped international rankings as the most contrasting ski region in the Alps. Here a true snow sports paradise awaits enthusiasts. In the four large contrasting ski areas of Corviglia / Piz Nair, Corvatsch / Furtschellas, Diavolezza / Lagalb and Zuoz, as well as in five further small but special areas, winter sports fans have 350 km of piste and an incomparable choice of descents waiting to be enjoyed. Every skier and snowboarder, from beginner up to expert level, can find perfect slopes to suit their ability. Throughout the area, 35 mountain restaurants cater to visitors’ physical wellbeing, offering mouth-watering gastronomic variety.

St. Moritz - Snow activities with a difference

The extensive choice of activities of all kinds on the snow makes for tremendous variety. For example, the Corvatsch snownight on Friday evenings promises a fun, party atmosphere, and the chance to tackle the longest illuminated piste in Switzerland: unforgettable night-time thrills for skiers and snowboarders alike.

Or would you like to ski or snowboard the whole day without ever repeating a single piste, experiencing the variety of several different snow sports areas on the way? Then a Snowsafari, either individual or guided, would be ideal for you.

"Glüna Plaina", which means "full moon" in Romansh, offers the chance to experience romantic full-moon nights in a wonderfully original way. After a delicious meal at the summit restaurant on Diavolezza, you glide in the silvery moonlight down peaceful, deserted pistes all the way to the valley floor – a breathtaking and unforgettable experience.

Or would you like to experience the surreal glacier landscape up on Diavolezza close up? On the 10 km Isla Persa glacier run, the longest in Switzerland, you can feel the magic of this extraordinary world of ice.

Right beside the Corviglia top station is the Mellow Snow Park, guaranteeing a mountain of fun with its choice of kickers, jumps and rails.
