Summer flight programme 2013 at EuroAirport

Around 650 scheduled departures each week to around 80 airports, six new destinations, more frequent flights and greater seating capacity

The upcoming EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg summer flight programme (31.03.2013 – 26.10.2013) offers six new destinations: Agadir and Dalaman (1 flight/week respectively) with TUIfly, Calvi and Figari (1 flight/week respectively) with Hop! (Air France), Elba (1 flight/week) with Skywork, and Split (1 flight/week) with Air Méditerranée.

In addition, there will be a number of new features among the scheduled flights. easyJet will be flying for the first time to Antalya and Catania (2 flights/week respectively), while continuing to serve Brussels (6 flights/week), Budapest (4 flights/week), Manchester (4 flights/week) and Santiago de Compostela (2 flights/week). Like last summer easyJet will again be flying to Thessaloniki (4 flights/week). Wizz Air will continue to serve the new Eastern European destinations - Belgrade and Skopje. Brussels Airlines will maintain its service to Brussels, the popular capital of the European Union (11flights/week). KLM is also increasing flight frequency to Amsterdam from two to three daily flights.

This summer there will also be more flights to Berlin (up to 5 flights/day) and to Bordeaux, which will now be served daily.

As for holiday flights, a large selection of around 40 destinations will again be on offer. New destinations are Bastia (Corsica) and Glasgow (Scotland). There will be weekly flights to North Africa - Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia – as well as Southern Europe, to the classic Mediterranean countries like e.g. Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Spain and Turkey.

As during the summer last year, weekly long-haul flights will depart to Montreal with Air Transat.

In summary, a total of 25 airlines will be offering direct scheduled flights to more than 80 destinations this summer from EuroAirport. This corresponds to around 650 flights a week. The programme of holiday flights will include around 40 sunny destinations offered by around 60 tour operators in France, Switzerland and Germany.
