Launch of first airberlin flight from EuroAirport to Malta
With the start of the 2011 summer timetable, airberlin is extending its choice of flights from EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg and launched this morning 1 May 2011 at 11.45 am its first flight from EuroAirport to Malta.
EuroAirport is excited about this new, first ever scheduled flight to Malta, the popular South European island state in the Mediterranean.
The second largest airline in Germany, airberlin, will be flying to Malta every Sunday until 30 October 2011 using an airbus A319 with a seating capacity for 144 passengers. After a flight time of around two hours, the red-white airberlin plane is at destination. The return flight leaves Malta every Sunday at 8.35 hours, arriving at EuroAirport at 11.05 hours.
The price for a single ticket starts at 69 CHF. From EuroAirport, passengers can book flights with airberlin to 51 destinations world-wide, including Berlin-Tegel, Catania, Copenhagen, Dubai, Iraklion, Ibiza, Kos, Lamezia Terme, Moscow, New York, Palma de Mallorca, Rhodes and Tenerife.
