Felix Hartmann to head EuroAirport's Environmental Department
EuroAirport management is pleased to announce the appointment of Felix Hartmann as head of the Environmental Department at EuroAirport. Felix Hartmann will take up his position on 14 May 2012.
Felix Hartmann will take up his duties as Head of the Environmental Department on 14 May 2012. Collaborating closely with the airport management, he and his small team will help develop EuroAirport’s environmental policy and management.
Felix Hartmann is a qualified environmental engineer with a degree from ETH Zurich. In addition, he has pursued continuous training in the areas of environment and safety. He has more than 13 years experience in environmental affairs, construction and development planning and safety.
He joined Rapp Infra AG in Basel as project manager in 2001. At the company he was responsible for general drainage planning, noise and inherited waste assessments. From 2005 to 2012 Hartmann held various positions at Novartis Pharma AG. Some of his responsibilities included treating inherited waste at the factories in Basel, supervising the Campus projects on health, safety and the environment, as well as managing project portfolios for investment projects and site development.
Felix Hartmann is a Swiss national. Born in Basel, he attended high school in Muttenz (BL). His native language is German and he also speaks French and English. Felix Hartmann is 39 years old.
