2012 Summer flight programme from EuroAirport: around 570 weekly scheduled departures, 11 new destinations, more frequent flights and greater seating capacity

The EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg 2012 summer flight timetable (valid from 25 March to 27 October) offers eleven new destinations:
Bodrum and Dubrovnik (2 flights/week) with Air Méditerranée, Punta Cana (1 flight/week) with Arkefly, Varna (1 flight/week) with Bulgaria Air, Faro (2 flights/week) with easyJet, Boa Vista, Funchal, Larnaca and Sal (1 flight/week) with Hello, Usedom (1 flight/week) with OLT and London City (1 flight/week) with Swiss International Air Lines.

Furthermore, there will be a number of new features added to the scheduled flight programme. Air France will continue to serve Marseille with an Airbus A319. Brussels Airlines will be operating flights to Brussels, the popular capital of the European Union (11 times weekly). easyJet will be connecting EuroAirport to the Canary Islands – Fuerteventura and Tenerife – several times a week, as well as Ibiza and Toulouse. Flights to Amsterdam will be operated by KLM using a Fokker 70. Alongside Iceland Express, Reykjavik will also be served by WOW Air.

In addition to the above, the airline companies Sun Express and Pegasus will be increasing the frequency of flights to Antalya.

As for holiday flights, passengers will continue to benefit from an extensive choice of weekly departures to destinations in Northern Africa – Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia – as well as to Southern Europe and the Mediterranean Basin, for example Croatia, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Turkey.
In addition to the new long-haul destinations offered from EuroAirport this summer, i.e. Punta Cana with Air Méditerranée, Boa Vista and Sal with Hello, Montreal will continue to be served by Air Transat with an Airbus 310.
 
In summary, a total of 24 airlines will be offering direct scheduled flights to more than 70 destinations this summer from EuroAirport. This corresponds to around 570 departures each week.
The programme of holiday flights will include a total of 40 sunny destinations offered by around 60 tour operators in France, Switzerland and Germany.

At the end of February 2012 EuroAirport recorded around 650,000 passengers (+9% compared to the same period last year). For year end 2012, EuroAirport’s management expects to achieve moderate passenger growth (+3%) in comparison with 2011.
