Starting Friday 22 May, 10 pm until Tuesday 26 May 2015, 5 am, road traffic accessing and leaving EuroAirport via the French motorway A 35 will be disrupted due to road works taking place around the motorway access point to and from the airport.

All traffic in the direction Basel - Mulhouse will be redirected onto the opposite lane before the exit "EuroAirport" and car speed will be reduced.

In addition, both the exit “EuroAirport” on the A 35 and the access road from the airport to the A 35 in the direction of Mulhouse will be closed to traffic.

The access to the motorway A 35 via the Saint-Louis interchange in the direction of Mulhouse will also be closed to traffic on Saturday, 23 May 2015 from 12 am to 7 pm, in order to regulate traffic on the A35 coming from Basel in the direction of Mulhouse.

During the road works, airport users are requested to follow the deviation signs in place. EuroAirport management strongly advises travellers to allow more time for their car journey and to arrive as early as possible at the airport to catch their flights. If possible, travellers are recommended to use public transport.

Deviations

Travellers coming to the airport from Switzerland via the French motorway A 35:  stay on the A 35, take the exit at the Bartenheim interchange and drive back to the airport on the A 35 in the opposite direction.

Motorists leaving the airport to travel to Mulhouse: follow the deviation via the main roads RD12bisI, RD 201 and RD 66 to the Bartenheim interchange, then access the A 35 towards Mulhouse.

Since the access to the motorway A 35 via the Saint-Louis interchange in the direction of Mulhouse will be closed to traffic on Saturday, 23 May 2015 from 12 am to 7 pm: follow the deviation via the main roads RD 105 and RD 66 to the Bartenheim interchange, then access the airport via the A35 towards Basel.

How to find EuroAirport with your GPS?

The airport has no street address. Most GPS will find us though if you search e.g. for "Basel airport" or "EuroAirport".

Alternatively, you can use the following coordinates:

Swiss side, roundabout on the airport access road
(follow the signs to the airport afterwards):
N 47°34.491'
E 07°33.747'

French side, roundabout on the airport entryway:
N 47°36.243'
E 07°31.819'

Please bear in mind that you can access either the Swiss or the French side of the airport, and enter the required location into your GPS accordingly.
